The Sofitel Cologne Mondial am Dom Hotel is a modern hotel with a Tapas Bar, Grand Habana Lounge and Cologne beer pub, and a fitness room, sauna and steam room. The hotel is in the centre of Cologne - 100 metres from the train station.

Visit Cologne's Chocolate Museum for a tasting, relax in a traditional bar and sample the local specialty beer kolsch, then head up to the top of the Dom for fabulous views over the city.

Munich - Day 2-4

Depart Cologne for the 4 hour 50 minute journey by train in First Class to Munich, where you check in to the Platzl Hotel.

The Platzl Hotel is a traditional Bavarian style hotel, with a fitness room and sauna and a Bavarian restaurant and bar. The hotel is in the centre of Munich, close to the Hofbrauhaus.

Munich is a relaxed city, with fantastic art and culture, and great beer! Go to the Bavarian State Opera for a performance, visit the museums, relax in the park, and enjoy the local food and drink specialties in a bar, café or restaurant.

Berlin - Day 4-7

Swissotel Berlin 5 Star Swissotel Berlin

Take the train in First Class from Munich to Berlin (approximately 5 hours 45 minutes) to Swissotel Berlin

The Swissotel Berlin is a luxury hotel situated in the centre of Berlin, on Kurfürstendamm, Berlin's famous shopping street.

Berlin is the capital of Germany and was divided by the Berlin Wall between the French, Americans, British and Soviets from 1945 to 1989. The reunited Berlin has a lively and continually changing nightlife, fascinating museums, modern architecture, restaurants serving international cuisine, and tempting shops and boutiques.

Day 7, travel by train and Eurostar to London via Brussels (approximately 12 hour journey).
