Deluxe Venice Holiday via the Alps (Zurich and Turin)
Travel via Zurich (where you stop overnight), before travelling through stunning Alpine scenery, alongside Lake Lugano and through Milan into Italy. Spend 3 nights in Venice, before travelling up to Turin where you stop off for one night before travelling through the D'Aosta Valley (look out for glimpses of Mont Blanc) on your way back to London.
This package includes return First Class Eurostar and onward train travel, train transfers between cities and central hotels with breakfast.
London to Zurich - Day 1
Schweizerhof HotelTravel from London to Paris by First Class Eurostar, before transferring onto the train to Zurich. On arrival check-in for 1 night at the Schweizerhof Hotel in Zurich.
The Schweizerhof Hotel in Zurich is a traditional family-run hotel, where guests are provided with a butler service on arrival. The hotel has a French restaurant, and a bustling café. The hotel is opposite the main railway station, on the famous "Bahnhofstrasse".
Zurich to Venice - Day 2
Day 2 take the train from Zurich through the Swiss Alps along the Gotthard Pass, and over Lake Lugano on the Swiss border with Italy. The train travels down to Milan, before running alongside Lake Garda (look out for brief glimpses of the Lake) to Venice.
Venice - Day 2-5
Arrive in Venice where you check in for a 3 night stay at the Ca' dei Conti Hotel.
The Ca' dei Conti Hotel in Venice is set in two 18th century buildings and has 31 traditional Venetian style bedrooms. The hotel has a small sun terrace. The hotel is in the centre of Venice, a short walk from St Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge.
Day 5, depart Venice train station for the 6 hour train journey to Turin.
Turin - Day 5-6
Check in for a 1 night stay at the Grand Hotel Sitea Hotel.
The Grand Hotel Sitea Hotel in Turin is an elegant hotel with a restaurant serving Piedmontese specialities and an American bar. The hotel is in the centre of Turin, just behind Piazza San Carlo.
Turin to London - Day 6
Day 6, take the train to Paris which travels through the D'Aosta Valley (look out for glimpses of Mont Blanc). On arrival in Paris transfer onto the Eurostar to London.
