Travel via Zurich (where you stop overnight), before travelling through stunning Alpine scenery, alongside Lake Lugano and through Milan into Italy.
Spend 3 nights in Venice, before travelling up to Turin where you stop off for one night before travelling through the D'Aosta Valley (look out for glimpses of Mont Blanc) on your way back to London.

London to Zurich - Day 1
Baur au Lac HotelTravel from London to Paris by First Class Eurostar, before transferring onto the train to Zurich. On arrival check-in for 1 night at the Baur au Lac Hotel in Zurich.
The Baur au Lac Hotel in Zurich is an elegant hotel with a restaurant and bar, a fitness room with views across the lake. The hotel is set in its own park on the shore of Lake Zurich, a short walk from the Bahnhofstrasse.
Zurich to Venice - Day 2
Day 2 take the train from Zurich through the Swiss Alps along the Gotthard Pass, and over Lake Lugano on the Swiss border with Italy. The train travels down to Milan, before running alongside Lake Garda (look out for brief glimpses of the Lake) to Venice.
Venice - Day 2-5
Arrive in Venice where you check in for a 3 night stay at the San Clemente Palace Hotel.
The San Clemente Palace Hotel in Venice is a historic hotel set in a 17th century Camaldolesi monastery. In the grounds of the hotel is an outdoor pool, two tennis courts, a pitch & putt golf course, and a Wellness and Fitness Centre. The hotel is set on a 17 acre private island in the Venice Lagoon, with great views over St Mark’s Square, Giudecca Island and the Lido. It is 12 minutes away from St Mark’s Square by 24 hour complimentary shuttle boat.
Day 5, depart Venice train station for the 6 hour train journey to Turin.
Turin - Day 5-6

The Grand Hotel Sitea Hotel in Turin is an elegant hotel with a restaurant serving Piedmontese specialities and an American bar. The hotel is in the centre of Turin, just behind Piazza San Carlo.
Turin to London - Day 6
Day 6, take the train to Paris which travels through the D'Aosta Valley (look out for glimpses of Mont Blanc). On arrival in Paris transfer onto the Eurostar to London.
