DAY 1 - LONDON TO GENEVA
Your adventure begins in London's St Pancras station, where you'll board the Eurostar from London to Paris. Change onto a high-speed train and whiz through France towards Switzerland in just over three hours, all the while admiring the beautiful lake and mountain scenes out your window. On arrival in French-speaking Geneva, make your way to your hotel for an overnight stay. Spend the evening enjoying a tasty meal at a local lakeside restaurant, or take a relaxing boat trip out on the lake and admire the city's cosmopolitan feel and the stunning backdrop of the Alps and the Jura mountains. (Overnight in Geneva)

DAY 2 - GENEVA TO ROME
After breakfast, depart Geneva in the morning and travel to Rome on one of the most scenic routes in Europe, the Simplon Pass. Relax whilst the train follows the shores of Lake Leman and across Swiss vineyards, with stunning views of the Alps in the background. Travel further south after crossing the border into Italy to Milan, where you change onto a domestic service that travels down the spine of Italy to Rome. On arrival in Rome, check in your hotel for a three-night stay and set off to start exploring. Perhaps enjoy an ice-cold gelato on the Spanish steps and simply watch Roman life go by. DAY 3 - ROME
Head out to explore after breakfast, don't miss the architectural masterpiece, The Pantheon, one of Rome's best preserved buildings. Walk in the footsteps of the Romans at the Forum or follow Audrey Hepburn and dare to put your hand into the Bocca della Verità to prove that you are trustworthy! (Overnight in Rome) B

DAY 4 - ROME
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then head for another day of sightseeing at leisure. Admire the breathtaking collection of ancient art, sculptures and statues at the Capitoline museums or why not take a trip to the enchanting Vatican, the centre of the Catholic world and a completely independent state. DAY 5 - ROME TO UK
Check out of your hotel after breakfast and make your way to the airport to catch your flight home to the UK. Of course, if you'd rather travel home by train, that's no problem! We recommend spending a night in Turin along the way. B
