Experience the best of Scandinavia and Russia on this multi-city holiday by scenic train and boat. Your journey begins in London, where you’ll speed on the Eurostar to Brussels and on to Hamburg for an overnight stay. The following day, take the train through the rural beauty of Denmark and experience the novelty of riding one of the last remaining train ferries on the journey to Copenhagen. Enjoy two days in the capital city of Denmark before travelling north to Stockholm and spend two more days discovering the classic Scandinavian city. Then set sail across the Baltic Sea for a night in Helsinki to complete your Scandinavian experience. From Helsinki, make the journey to grand St Petersburg for a two-night stay, followed by an additional two nights in majestic Moscow. DAY 1 LONDON TO HAMBURG
Depart London today on the Eurostar to Brussels, then transfer through Cologne to Hamburg. On arrival in Hamburg, check in at your hotel for an overnight stay and enjoy your evening in the metropolitan city. Perhaps enjoy some local cuisine and a glass of good German beer! DAY 2 HAMBURG TO COPENHAGEN
After breakfast this morning, board the train heading north for Copenhagen. Enjoy the thrill of riding the rails as you roll through the lovely Danish countryside before the train takes its place on one of Europe’s last remaining ‘boat trains’ to Copenhagen. Enjoy memorable views on the water on this fun portion of the ride. On arrival in Copenhagen, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay. (Overnight in Copenhagen) B

DAY 3 COPENHAGEN
Set out to discover Copenhagen today using your city card, the beautiful and welcoming harbor city straddling the islands of Zeeland and Amager and offering a wealth of museums, culture, shopping and sightseeing opportunities. Take a guided canal and harbor tour or enjoy a spin on the Ferris wheel at the Tivoli Gardens, the oldest amusement park in the world. Visit Kronborg castle in Elsinore, home of a famous Shakespearian Dane, or shop until you drop on Strøget, the world's longest pedestrianised street. DAY 4 COPENHAGEN TO STOCKHOLM
Take the train from Copenhagen to Stockholm this morning and enjoy views of beautiful rural landscapes and charming small towns as you head north through Sweden. On arrival in Stockholm, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay. (Overnight in Stockholm) B

DAY 5 STOCKHOLM
The day is yours to explore friendly Stockholm from land and sea with this hop-on, hop-off combo bus and boat tour. Disembark the bus or boat at all of the stops or stay onboard and listen to the audio commentary. Explore attractions like Skansen, Royal Palace, Gröna Lund, Vasa museum, Fjällgatan, City Hall, The ABBA Museum, Ice Bar or Gamla Stan get a comprehensive overview of the city's history and culture at your own pace. DAY 6 STOCKHOLM TO HELSINKI
After breakfast this morning, enjoy more of Stockholm before setting off on the evening overnight ferry to Helsinki. Enjoy comfortable accommodations and beautiful scenery along the way. On arrival in Helsinki the next day, check in at your hotel for an overnight stay. (Overnight on the Ferry) B

DAY 7 HELSINKI
Admire Helsinki and her islands from the water on a your relaxing 1.5-hour sightseeing cruise. Board your sightseeing boat in central Helsinki, Then, sit back and admire the sights as you sail by Helsinki’s waterfronts and islands. Around 62 miles (100 kilometers) of picturesque coastline extend out from the city, as does an archipelago of around 330 islands, each offering a quiet escape from the Finnish capital’s bustle. As you cruise, hear fascinating facts about Helsinki’s colorful history and the passing sights from the on-board commentary. Watch for Korkeasaari Island, the site of Helsinki Zoo; and pass the UNESCO-listed Suomenlinna Maritime Fortress. Sip on a drink from the onboard bar (own expense) as you sail into the Degerö Canal. Behold the beautiful scenery along this man-made waterway, constructed in the late 1800s to provide an easier passage to one of Helsinki’s inner archipelagos. Have your camera ready as you drift by Helsinki’s fleet of icebreaker ships. These massive vessels help to keep Finland’s seaports open during winter and make an impressive sight. After roughly 1.5-hour cruise, arrive back at the starting dock where your trip ends. DAY 8 HELSINKI TO ST PETERSBURG

DAY 9 ST PETERSBURG
Use your city pass to see the many attractions in St Petersburg, it can be hard to decide which treasure to discover first. Known as ‘Venice of the North,’ visitors will enjoy the city’s network of canals broken up by striking plazas and baroque and neoclassical palaces. Art and culture lovers will fall in love with the famous Hermitage and the Russian Museum, while music and performance aficionados will want to indulge in world-class ballet or an opera at one of the renowned performance halls. DAY 10 ST PETERSBURG TO MOSCOW

DAY 11 MOSCOW
There’s really no place that quite compares to the majestic grandeur of Moscow, from the significance of the Kremlin and Red Square and its signature St Basil’s Cathedral, to the spectacular performances at the Bolshoi Theatre. Visit Gorky Park, with its numerous exhibitions and eateries, and the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts for a dazzling display of European masterpieces. (Overnight in Moscow) B

DAY 12  MOSCOW TO LONDON
