DAY 1 - UK TO NICE
Speed under the Channel on the Eurostar to Paris before transferring onto a high-speed TGV train to Nice. Spend your journey enjoying the changing landscape flash past your window before arriving in Nice. On arrival, make your way to your hotel and check in for a three-night stay. After settling into your hotel, head out for the evening to begin your exploration of Nice. Perhaps walk along the seafront or enjoy some famous Niçoise cuisine with an evening meal at one of the city's many restaurants. (Overnight in Nice)

DAY 2 - NICE
Spend two days at leisure exploring the charming town of "Nice la belle" and enjoying some of the famous local cuisine on the attractive seafront. The Promenade des Anglais and Place Masséna, lined with palm trees, are popular spots for tourists and locals alike. Both host many public events including the annual carnival. Wander through Vieux Nice to discover traditional French architecture and the daily markets selling flowers, gifts and fresh Niçoise delicacies. Alternatively, visit the 19th century Palais Massena featuring impressionist paintings and folk art. (Overnight in Nice) B

DAY 3 - MONACO DAY TRIP
Your holiday includes a train trip from Nice to Monaco today. Explore at your leisure the smallest monarchy in the world home to the famous car rally, the fabulous Monte Carlo Casino and some of the largest yachts on the French Riviera. (Overnight in Nice) B

DAY 4 - NICE TO CANNES
After breakfast and check out of your hotel, make the short 30-minute journey from Nice to Cannes along the sparkling Côte d'Azur by train. On arrival, check in at your hotel for a three-night stay. Cannes is known as the 'star' of the French Riviera. Why not enjoy a walk through Le Suquet, Cannes' Old Town area, to the city's ruined castle for great views of the Boulevard de la Croisette and the Mediterranean? You can also visit one of the Îles de Lérins, two islands in the bay which offer a haven from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. (Overnight in Cannes) B

DAY 5 - CANNES
Enjoy a fascinating 2hr walking tour this morning and hear the history and stories of Cannes, from its small fishing village beginnings to the glitz and glamour of the Cannes film festival. You’ll experiencing the luxurious sights and sounds of Cannes. Take a walk along La Croisette, the vibrant seafront street famed for its nightlife, great beaches and boutiques. DAY 6 - CANNES
After breakfast, why not visit the Palais des Festivals, the venue of Cannes' famous annual film festival. Or simply drink in the view of the sun kissed Mediterranean and count the number of Porsches, Lamborghinis and Ferraris cruising along the streets. (Overnight in Cannes) B

DAY 7 - CANNES TO UK
Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel and then travel from Cannes to Paris, passing by scenic French countryside and pretty villages before stopping for lunch in Paris or transferring straight onto your Eurostar back to the UK. B

Canberra Hotel Cannes

Hotel Le Canberra is a contemporary hotel with 35 bedrooms. The hotel has recently been renovated and features a stylish bar, Le Café Blanc, a fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel is in the centre of Cannes, on Rue d'Antibes, close to the beach and the Croisette.
