DAY 1 - LONDON TO BERLIN

Travel from St Pancras International or Ebbsfleet International by Eurostar to Brussels and then connect on to the German ICE train to Berlin via Cologne. On arrival at Berlin Hauptbahnhof, check in at your hotel for a three-night stay. Enjoy your first evening in the German capital with a meal in the lively Mitte district or take a stroll around the largest green space in Berlin, the beautiful Tiergarten. Enjoy a peaceful coffee in one of the cafes overlooking the lake, or visit an exhibition at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt. (Overnight in Berlin)

DAY 2 - BERLIN

Spend two full days exploring the fascinating city of Berlin with its innumerable museums, fabulous architecture, beguiling attractions and vibrant nightlife. You could spend weeks exploring the 153 museums on offer in Berlin. In particular, the Gemäldegalerie holds one of the most renowned collections of European art from the Old Masters and the Pergamon Museum has a huge antiquity collection including some massive original-sized monuments. DAY 3 - BERLIN

On your second day in Berlin why not visit the imposing Reichstag, a building with huge historical significance and a favourite among tourists. A climb up to the glass dome is recommended for the wonderful views, photographic exhibition and rooftop restaurant. (Overnight in Berlin) B

DAY 4 - BERLIN TO PRAGUE

After breakfast, enjoy another morning in Berlin and then take the train from Berlin to Prague which follows the scenic Elbe river valley. On arrival in Prague, check in for a three-night stay at your hotel. Once settled, why not take a leisurely stroll through the town and admire some great examples of Art Nouveau, Renaissance and Neo-Classical architecture in the UNESCO World Heritage listed historic centre. (Overnight in Prague) B

DAY 5 - PRAGUE

Spend two days exploring Central Europe's most popular destination. Take a stroll through the Josefov, Prague's Jewish quarter, where you will find some of the city's most colourful and wonderful buildings, such as the bright Jubilee Synagogue and the Gothic-style Old-New Synagogue dating back to the 13th century. Why not head to the enchanting Astronomical Clock to watch the procession of the Twelve Apostles, during which a small trap door opens and Christ leads the way ahead of his disciples. DAY 6 - PRAGUE

Continue your exploration of Prague with a visit to the Gothic Powder Tower, dating back to 1475, and explore the museum which explains the history of the city and the tower itself. (Overnight in Prague) B

DAY 7 - PRAGUE TO UK

Check out of your hotel after breakfast and make your way to the airport in Prague for your flight back to the UK. Prefer to travel home by train, perhaps stopping off in Munich for a night en route? Just let our Rail Experts know and they will make all the arrangements for you. B

The IntercityHotel Ostbahnhof is conveniently located in Berlin next to the Ostbahnhof train station. The Spree River is within easy walking distance (approx. 5 min), and the Mercedes-Benz Arena is only about 9 minutes away. Using public transport, the Brandenburger Gate and Berlin Mitte can be easily reached in approx. 15 minutes.
